Isaiah 19:6
The Scripture
(6) And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the people of Judah are warned that the city of Jerusalem will be taken by the mighty Babylonian army. The king of Babylon is described as a great conqueror who will bring destruction to the land. The chapter ends with a call to repentance and a promise that God will bring judgment.
