Isaiah 16:5
The Scripture
(5) And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the prophet warns that Tyre will be destroyed by God and that its wealth will not protect it. He says the people will be scattered and the city will be a ruin. The message is that God's judgment is certain and that pride cannot avert His wrath.
