(11) Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.

In this chapter the prophet Hosea condemns Israel’s worship of Baal and its moral decay, urging them to return to the true God. He describes how the people have turned away from God and are filled with idolatry and injustice. The chapter calls for repentance and a return to faithful worship.
