The Scripture
(6) And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:

Jacob and his family are led by Joseph to Egypt where they are counted and given instructions to take their livestock and go there. The chapter records the census and the promise that they will dwell in Egypt for seventy years.
