The Scripture
(24) And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In Genesis 31 Jacob marries Rachel and Leah, but after Rachel’s barrenness he deceives Leah by having her take his brother Esau’s wife, and then he marries her. The chapter records the births of Jacob’s sons and the resulting family tension.
