The Scripture
(35) And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

Jacob travels to Bethlehem and meets Rachel, the daughter of Bethlehem and the wife of his uncle Laban. He tells his father Isaac that he will give his brother Esau to Rachel, and they marry, beginning a pattern of deception that will continue throughout the chapter.
