(21) And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah.

Abraham, now a hundred years old, is given a promise by God that he will inherit the land of Canaan. He and his family travel to the site of the promised land, find a rock, plant a tree, and build an altar. The chapter shows God’s faithfulness and the beginning of Abraham’s obedience to the covenant.
