(3) And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

In Genesis 21 Jacob’s son Joseph is born to his wife Rachel and the family celebrates the occasion with a feast. The chapter also records the jealousy of his half‑brother Joseph, who is left behind, and Jacob’s later decision to send away his firstborn.
