The Scripture
(11) Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In Ezekiel 7 God commands Ezekiel to count the people of Israel and to find out how many are alive and how many have been killed. He discovers that 600,000 are alive and 600,000 have perished, showing a great judgment on the nation. The chapter emphasizes God's power to restore and punish Israel.
