The Scripture
(13) I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Ezekiel 32 opens with a lament for Pharaoh, likened to a young lion and a sea monster whom the Lord will catch in His net and cast to the birds and beasts. The prophet then describes Pharaoh's multitude descending to the pit to join Assyria, Elam, and other slain nations lying in shame. The chapter closes with Pharaoh comforted only by seeing these nations share his fate as the Lord's terror fills the land of the living.
