The Scripture
(7) Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.

In this chapter God commands Ezekiel to examine the people of Israel and find that they have broken the covenant, especially by worshiping other gods and sacrificing to them. The chapter ends with a warning that the nation will be destroyed unless they repent and return to the true worship of Yahweh.
