Ezekiel 13:4
The Scripture
(4) O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the people of Israel are warned against eating the bones of the dead, a practice that leads to spiritual death and famine. They are described as eating the bone of the man and the bone of the woman, which symbolizes a loss of righteousness and a turning away from God. The chapter teaches that such actions bring disaster and that true life comes from obedience to God.
