The Scripture
(35) And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
God commands Moses to release the first plague, frogs, and Pharaoh refuses to let the Israelites go. When Pharaoh again denies God's power, God sends a second plague of lice and a third of pestilence, and later hail, locusts, darkness and the death of the firstborn.
