Exodus 38 records Bezaleel's construction of the brasen altar of burnt offering with its grate and vessels, and the brasen laver made from the mirrors of the women who served at the tabernacle door. It then describes the court of the tabernacle with its hangings, pillars, sockets, and embroidered gate. The chapter concludes with Ithamar's accounting of the metals the people offered - the gold for the sanctuary, and the silver and brass used for the sockets, altar, and pins of the court.
