(20) And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the Israelites are commanded to kill their firstborn sons, but many mothers hide their infants in the desert. As a result, the children survive and multiply in the wilderness. This shows God's care for His people even when they act against Him.
