Exodus 17:1
The Scripture
(1) And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
The Israelites camp at Rephidim and discover that there is no water, so Moses strikes the rock and water flows from it. The people praise God for His provision. This event shows that God supplies water to those who obey His command.
