The Scripture
(10) And he wrote in the king Ahasuerus' name, and sealed it with the king's ring, and sent letters by posts on horseback, and riders on mules, camels, and young dromedaries:

In this chapter the king of Persia orders Esther to go before him and bring the message of the Jews' deliverance. Esther obeys and goes to the king with counsel and the Jews are instructed to fast and rejoice. The chapter shows how God’s providence leads to a royal decree that saves the people.
