Ecclesiastes 4:9
The Scripture
(9) Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
The chapter warns that true wisdom lies in maintaining good relationships, especially among friends, and that quarrels are harmful. It teaches that two people can correct a third, but a single person is not enough, and that the love of friends is greater than the fear of death. The overall message is that human connections are more important than external success.
