Ecclesiastes 4:6
The Scripture
(6) Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
The chapter warns that true wisdom lies in maintaining good relationships, especially among friends, and that quarrels are harmful. It teaches that two people can correct a third, but a single person is not enough, and that the love of friends is greater than the fear of death. The overall message is that human connections are more important than external success.
