(6) The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.

In Amos 7 the prophet condemns the rich in Israel and Judah for hoarding grain while their people starve, urging them to share with the poor. He also warns that the nations will be judged and that the famine will be a sign of God’s anger.
