The Scripture
(28) And sounded, and found it twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms.

The ship that had been sailing from the east is driven by a sudden storm into the waters near the islands of the east, where it is caught in a reef and the crew is rescued by a Roman vessel. After being taken to Alexandria and then to Jerusalem, the ship sails to Rome where the passengers are released.
