(16) And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:

The ship that had been sailing from the east is driven by a sudden storm into the waters near the islands of the east, where it is caught in a reef and the crew is rescued by a Roman vessel. After being taken to Alexandria and then to Jerusalem, the ship sails to Rome where the passengers are released.
