(38) And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.

Paul and his companions are arrested in Philippi and taken to Thessalonica, where they preach the gospel to the people. The believers are threatened and forced to leave, but they continue to spread the message. The chapter highlights the spread of the gospel despite opposition.
