The Scripture
(36) And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that, behold, the king's sons came, and lifted up their voice and wept: and the king also and all his servants wept very sore.

David's son Amnon deceitfully raped his half-sister Tamar and then cast her out in hatred, leaving her desolate in her brother Absalom's house. Two years later Absalom had his servants kill Amnon in revenge during a sheep-shearing feast, then fled to Geshur.
