The Scripture
(27) And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did evil in the sight of the LORD, as did the house of Ahab: for he was the son in law of the house of Ahab.

The Shunammite woman's land was restored to her by the king after Gehazi recounted Elisha's miracle, while Elisha wept upon foreseeing the great evil that Hazael would inflict on Israel after becoming king of Syria by smothering Ben-hadad. The chapter also records the wicked reigns of Jehoram and Ahaziah over Judah, both of whom walked in the ways of the house of Ahab.
