II Corinthians 12:10
The Scripture
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Paul recounted being caught up to the third heaven and paradise, hearing unspeakable words, yet was given a thorn in the flesh to keep him from being exalted above measure, and though he pleaded three times for its removal, the Lord told him His grace was sufficient and His strength made perfect in weakness. Paul expressed fear that upon his coming visit he might find contention, envying, and other sins still present among the Corinthians.
