Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Second Corinthians 11 finds Paul defending his apostleship, warning the Corinthians against false 'super-apostles' who preach a different gospel, and recalling that he served them freely without burdening them. He reluctantly boasts of his Jewish heritage and extensive sufferings-beatings, shipwrecks, imprisonments, and constant concern for the churches. The chapter ends with his escape from Damascus in a basket lowered through a window in the wall.
