II Corinthians 1:14
The Scripture
(14) As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Paul blessed God as the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforted him in his troubles in Asia so that he might comfort others with the same comfort he had received. He explained that his change of travel plans was not due to fickleness but to spare the Corinthians another painful visit.
