I Timothy 5:25

First Timothy 5 instructs Timothy on treating church members like family and honoring widows who are truly in need. It sets guidelines for widow support, favoring family care over church support for younger widows, and affirms that elders who lead and teach well deserve double honor. The chapter closes with rules for handling accusations against elders and personal advice for Timothy's health.
