The Scripture
(11) And as they went up the hill to the city, they found young maidens going out to draw water, and said unto them, Is the seer here?

Saul, a young and handsome Benjamite, went searching for his father's lost donkeys and was led by his servant to consult the seer Samuel in the land of Zuph. Samuel had been forewarned by the LORD of Saul's coming and told him the donkeys were found, then privately anointed him as prince over Israel.
