I Kings 21:4
The Scripture
(4) And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Ahab coveted Naboth's vineyard, and when Naboth refused to sell his inheritance, Jezebel arranged false witnesses to have Naboth stoned to death so Ahab could seize the land. Elijah confronted Ahab with God's judgment that dogs would lick his blood and devour Jezebel, and Ahab humbled himself, causing the LORD to delay the disaster until after his death.
