I Kings 15:33
The Scripture
(33) In the third year of Asa king of Judah began Baasha the son of Ahijah to reign over all Israel in Tirzah, twenty and four years.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Abijam reigned briefly and wickedly over Judah, but his son Asa did right in the eyes of the LORD, removing idols and sodomites from the land and even deposing his grandmother Maachah for her idol worship. Asa allied with Syria's Ben-hadad against Baasha of Israel, while the chapter also records the violent, idolatrous reign of Nadab and Baasha in the north.
